Dona Eley is a retired mental health clinician who now divides her time and volunteer work between Buffalo, New York and the Middle East. She served as a licensed professional counselor in Juneau, Alaska for 14 years.
She was treated for breast cancer in 2014 and wrote a number of blog posts describing that experience. In December 2018 she was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. She has taken up the pen again to describe this new journey.
2019 marks 40 years of marriage to David. They have 2 lovely daughters and 3 hilarious young grandsons.
She hopes that her musings and observations about the vicissitudes and joys of life and faith might not only comfort her, but others.
